  • 2 packages (16 oz) Vanilla CANDIQUIK® Coating
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (plus ingredients for cake mix)
  • ½ of a (16 oz) container vanilla frosting
  • Green food coloring (oil or powder based only)
  • Decorative sprinkles

  1. Prepare cake mix as directed on box; add green food coloring until a deep green color is established. Bake as directed.
  2. Crumble cake into a large bowl. Add frosting and mix thoroughly.
  3. Chill mixture for approximately 2 hours in the refrigerator (you can speed this up by placing in the freezer).
  4. Shape cake mixture into 1” sized balls; place on a wax paper lined baking sheet.
  5. Melt both packages of Vanilla CANDIQUIK® in Melt and Make Microwaveable Tray™ according to the directions on the package. Add green food coloring (oil or powder based) to 1 of the packages.
  6. Dip cake balls in CANDIQUIK®, alternating between colors; allow excess coating to drip off. Place on wax paper to set.
  7. Decorate with sprinkles and/or drizzle with the opposite color of CANDIQUIK® Coating.
